March Busan Trip Part2

Hey ya'll! Ok..so here is Part 2 of our Busan Trip...Last time we came to Busan we were going to take the Busan City Bus Tour. It's pretty popular and if you don't get there early, you could be waiting for a bus for 2 hours..that's how long our wait was going to be last time. This tour takes you all different places in Busan and allows you to get off at the Bus stops and wonder around how ever long you'd like. When your ready to go to the next stop you just wait for the next bus that comes by. This is the perfect tourist way to see everything in one day and its only 10,000 won ($10) per adult.. 4-18 years are 5,000 won ($5). We didn't have to pay for the girls even though Mackey looks like a 5 year old :) .   You wait in line and pay the bus driver as you get on.

They have 2 loop tours you can choose from the Haeundae tour and the Taejongdae tour. The Haeundae tour takes you to the northeast of Busan. It's stops are Busan Museum, Gwangan Beach (where we stayed last time we were down here), Nurimaru (this stop was very popular (a lot of people got off at this stop)..although we have no idea why), Haeundae Beach (the most popular Beach in Busan), Haeundae Station, Shinsegae Department Store (the largest Department Store in the world), Busan Museum of Art (Bexco), Gwangan Bridge(the bridge that lights up that we took pictures of at Gwangan Beach last time we came), and lastly UN Memorial Cemetery.
Waiting in line....some people in line loved Mackey and took pictures of her.

This bus had an up and downstairs

Daddy and Story ready to go!

Mommy and Mackey ready to go!

They had a place to put ear phones in a device and hear the stuff in English..but we didn't have any earphones :(

Our Hotel we stayed in

Some of the colorful city

This is called the color distict

Even the highway is colorful

Daddy and Story looking out the window

We decided we would take the tour though the last stop and get off there since it was close to the first stop and we could walk to it and get back on. You can ride this thing all day if you'd like.
Gwangalli Bridge

The High rises I'm about to show you look like they spent a fortune to build. The are also the same buildings that you could see from our hotel room the first night we stayed in Busan.

I like how they shine here

Here is the Largest Shopping Department in the World...no we did not go in..but we will one day. :)

This place has an ice skating ring in it..remember..not the largest mall..but department..like a JCPennys ..one store

Bexco

More of Bexco..this is where the have concerts and other things..like the BJCC

Here is us going over the Gwangan Bridge.

After we went over the bridge we stopped at the UN Memorial Cemetery and we got off. Here is what it says on the brochure: As a permanent tribute to all those who gave their lives defending South Korea and upholding the cause of peace and freedom from 1950-1953, the UN Memorial Cemetery is the final resting place of many allied soldiers and contains many beautiful statues too. People still come to this park to pay their respects.

There were two of these guys standing at the front gates.

Mackey wanted a picture

The UN flag

fishes

The names go on to the back all the way and another wall behind that.

All the soldiers from Alabama, USA

230,000+ South Korean also died

This was for all the unknown soldiers

We left shortly after this picture and walked over to the Busan Museum to try and find food. There wasn't anything there so we walked down the road till we found this place.

It had the same concept of the grilling your own food..but with wood.
We just walked in this place and Andrew started grinning ear to ear!! He was in Heaven!
They had a little play area in the back and we let the girls play till we got food.
Story loved that salad to the right..It had like a sweet dressing on it

We ordered the Pork, Ribs, and Duck.....the duck was the best!

Mackey decided before we started cooking..that she would sneak a bit of not fully cooked duck..ewww ...she is ok :)

The girls loved the food!

Andrew found out that they have the same restaurants in Daegu..which made him really happy!
After lunch we got some ice cream

I'm going to split this day because it was so long..so..until tomorrow!
I know..I'm so sorry!
:)

God Bless you all!
Coby
