What Have We Gotten Ourselves Into?: June Review

June was a pretty busy month for us. We started off the month with some of the sadness news. We found out that Andrew's best friend back home ,Jay Schuline had past away. Andrew was currently in the states at this time (we are amazed at God's planning of this) and was able to be a part of the funeral service. Andrew was devastated but Jay's life was such a wonderful testament to how Christians should live their life. Andrew was glad just to have been friends with Jay and knows he will see him again someday.

During this time..I was in the hospital with Story all by myself. But you can read about that here.

June 14 was Mackey last TBall Game for the year..we had the Tball party on June 19th..we was such a fun party where we got trophies and pictures.

Grace made the cupcakes...they looked and tasted awesome!

Mackey wasn't in the best of moods..she had been sick the day before..and I don't think she was over it

The day before Story's birthday we went to eat at this new place Grace bought me. It has this really good Honey Pizza and I wanted to share it with Andrew and the girls.

June 23rd (Story's Birthday) we started the day off with eating at Burger King for breakfast. Burger King has a playground in it..so the girls loved it.

The girls went off to school afterwards..but when they got home..we decided that we would go swimming ...We wanted to do some special for Story on her bday..but..it was cloudy and the pool was SOOOOO cold. We swim for about an hour or so...

The day after Story's birthday Story got some mail from Nonna and Poppy.

Story had gotten some money from Nana and Papa and MawMaw and Granddaddy. We took her to the PX and she picked out some cool toys and some pretty PJs(the ones she has on)

We ended the day in playing Candy Land.

The next day

Mackey had her first field trip to the Market at school on the 25th.

She looks so cute in her uniform.

On the 26th we were having breakfast and Mackey just starts posing...she loved to look in the mirror and show off her muscles .

This might be a little embracing..but I have no problem laughing at myself...while I was taking the girls to school that day Mackey asked for a baby wipe. I had a new container of them and needed to put the baby wipe through the whole...so as I was doing so..I got my finger stuck in it...and couldn't get it out...it hurt sooooo bad!!

I drove the whole way to their school (about 25mins) with one hand and in pain. Finally when I got there..I asked for them to help me get it out. They didn't understand at first that my finger was in there ..so they were tugging at the container...(not good) ..then they realized and one of the teacher got his knife and cut my finger out.

Later I found this on the directions of the container.

Do not push finger through opening ! HAHA

Story's birthday Party was on the 28th and my next blog will have the pictures from it..cause there are too many.

On the 29th..we had another party to go to...before we went..we got some Philly cheese steaks at South Street grille.
